K lacks any equivalent to a refractory period, and despite how incredible Viktor's climax had felt even when experiencing it indirectly, it hadn't quite relieved his own aching arousal. Almost the opposite, really. And he's a bit worried about being an inconvenience because of it. And so Viktor being willing to continue being close and touching him is very nice — and helps. His nerves feel as though they're buzzing, and he gives an appreciative hum at the kiss, tightening his arm around Viktor.

"I could have decided for myself even before," he says with a slight smile. "And I did, when I asked you to share a bond with me." Through the pleasant haze of arousal and affection still permeating their bond, a softer feeling of comfort is offered. "But I understand your concerns. You were worried about how my programming might limit my choices with a human partner?"

And it is understandable to be concerned about that, because early on in K's life that would have been precisely the case. Consent doesn't exist for androids where he's from. They'd have to be recognised as actual people first.
