I'm okay with brackets or prose and will match formats. I enjoy both long and short tags and don't expect you to match the length of mine. I'm happy to thread with characters of any age, and from any medium, including OCs. This is an ever expanding but far from exhaustive list. If something you want to play with me isn't specifically mentioned here, just ask me about it!
Some things I'm interested in:
-Found family dynamics.
-Ride or Die friendships.
-Really any kind of close CR in general.
-Mentoring.
-H/C playing either side, preferably balanced with both characters getting a chance to be the hurt and the comforting party.
-Wireplay and interfacing.
-Exploring personhood, identity, and autonomy. Especially within the context of being a slave and synthetic being.
-Exploring gender identity and expression. K wasn't socialised as a man or even as a person, but as an object, a machine, a thing, and this informs my portrayal of him.
-Other characters engaging with K as an android. He is not human and doesn't want to be treated like one. Treating him like a person, however — that's good.
-Exploring K's programmed obedience, including another character owning him and what that would entail. A few more detailed example scenarios are described further down.
-Characters experiencing something for the first time together.
-Introspection.
-Intimate bathing/grooming scenarios.
-Characters sharing soft, emotional moments of any kind.
-In shippy scenarios, K tends to be the one who takes the initiative and pursues and romances his partner; it'd be fun for him to experience being pursued and romanced too.
-In sexual scenarios, exploring how the characters relate to each other, especially mentally and emotionally. Not really interested in smut for smut's sake.
-Exploring the unique owner/android companion dynamic of your character owning K. Some popular examples that come to mind include Miguel O'Hara and his assistant AI Lyla, Tony Stark and Jarvis. Open to it being a positive or negative experience or anything in between.
-Similar to the above, exploring a dynamic like that of Rain and her android companion/protector/brother Andy in Alien: Romulus. Or K in a role like that of the androids Ash, Bishop, David, Walter, etc. in earlier Alien movies, or serving as a group's Unit à la the Murderbot Diaries, assisting (and forming complicated attachments to) his human crewmates/contractors.
-AUs along the lines of Raised by Wolves and I Am Mother with K acting as the android caretaker to a human(oid) of any age.
-A Dune AU has always seemed interesting, with K as a type of more evolved thinking machine/android, perhaps created specifically to aid Leto and Paul and House Atreides, or other characters.
Some things I'm not interested in:
-Negative CR that has no chance of evolving, that's simply negative for the sake of being negative. My character being a permanent punching bag just isn't very interesting to me.
-Other characters trying to invalidate K's identity or experiences as an android.
-Gatekeeping of any sort about AI/androids.
-Love triangles. Which I don't consider polyamory. I'm willing to consider polyamorous ships if it makes sense for the characters and there's clear OOC communication between all of the involved players, though K might struggle with it, given his natural inclination and preference for monogamy. But love triangle shenanigans are a hard pass for me.
Some things I won't play:
-Infidelity in an established relationship, cheating storylines.
-Non-consensual sexual violence.
-Animal abuse/death.

📖In Character
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes. He can defend himself, but if the person attacking him is human, he's unlikely to be able to retaliate (depending on the circumstances; game events and K eventually developing free will could change this). So it could be pretty one sided.
ROMANCE/FLIRTING: Yes. Refer to physical affection. K is very much a romantic at heart.
SEXUAL CONTENT: Yes, if it's ever applicable. K needs a strong emotional connection with someone before he's comfortable engaging in anything sexual with them; no gender preference. Game events may influence this. Please note I'm not comfortable playing out cheating storylines or infidelity in established relationships.
PSYCHIC ABILITIES: Ask first before using them on him. He's an android and characters possessing psychic abilities will be able to tell that his mind isn't like a human's — it's more on par with a supercomputer. The majority of his memories are false artificial implants and he's aware of this fact. He's been (literally) programmed and heavily conditioned; Nexus-9 models are renowned for their absolute obedience*. K has no psychic abilities himself, but he is capable of interfacing with other androids/AI/technology (and technology gods)/etc. and communicating directly that way. If your character happens to possess anything like technopathy, the connection will be all the stronger. I love getting to play with this kind of connection between characters and exploring the possibilities, please indulge me.
(*This doesn't mean he's compelled to obey every human he comes into contact with, it's restricted to his assigned superior officer/owner/handler within the LAPD, Lieutenant Joshi, in canon. But I'm willing to explore this within the game setting.)
MAGIC/POWERS: He has superhuman reflexes, strength, agility, endurance, perceptive abilities, etc. He's a Nexus-9 android optimised for combat and law enforcement and contrary to his outward lean size, he's as resilient as any of the earlier, far more bulky combat specialist models.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's an android, specifically a biorobotic type — essentially his inorganic, robotic bits are fully integrated with the organic bits; replicants are not human clones, they are explicitly androids. He heals at an accelerated rate compared to humans, and can shrug off some pretty grievous injuries within days. It takes considerable damage to slow him down. He has blood, but it's neither identical to nor compatible with human blood — vampiric characters may notice this; it's likely unappetising. It also means blood magic is unlikely to work on him. What empaths can detect from him will vary depending on their individual abilities, but in general it will be far more muted and noticeably different from what they'd detect from a human, more on par with what they'd pick up from a sentient computer. He has emotions, they're just governed by his programming. He isn't required to eat or sleep in order to remain functional, though he's physically capable of doing both, and they will help accelerate recovery and healing.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS: Bigotry against androids/AI/robots in general. Invalidating his identity as an android. The closer he is to developing free will, the less he will tolerate being treated like property.
📖Out Of Character
FOURTH WALLING: In general: no thank you, this robot has enough existential crises to deal with. I'd rather not have anyone inform K he's a fictional character or treat him as though he's "posing" as one. I'm fine with characters being canon familiar with the Blade Runner movies and/or the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick that they're based on if they exist as fiction in their own universes (just don't explicitly tell K this). I'm not really into face-twinning or mistaken identities in that vein and would prefer the characters are treated as though they look and behave recognisably different. Anything specific, just ask first!
THREADHOPPING: Yes, if all players are okay with it and it isn't a private thread.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS/TRIGGERS: Clearly label any sensitive/triggering or NSFW content and we'll be good. I prefer to avoid overly graphic descriptions of gore (think goreporn), graphic descriptions of non-consensual sexual violence, intentional misgendering, and animal abuse.
CONTENT I ABSOLUTELY NEED WARNINGS FOR, BUT CAN STILL PLAY: Excessive gore and body horror, discussion of sexual abuse.
CONTENT I ABSOLUTELY NEED WARNINGS FOR AND THAT I CAN'T PLAY: Graphic non-consensual sexual violence. Domestic pet animal abuse/death. Certain types of body horror may fall into this category but I will handle those on a case by case basis with other players if they come up.
ANYTHING ELSE: I also have a general preferences page as well as a first impressions page (made for a different game, but most of the information applies to Unfinished Library too).
The Blade Runner universe involves themes of enslavement and fantasy racism. Replicants are literally created to be slave labour and designed for the vocations deemed too dangerous or unfit for humans, including sex work. If you'd prefer such topics not come up when tagging K or if you'd like to opt-out of tags from me for any reason, let me know. I'm happy to accommodate other players, so feel free to talk to me if there's anything in particular you want to play out. (And it should really go without saying but) I'm open to interacting with characters from any medium and OCs.
Unfinished Library First Impressions
This is adapted from an old template for a survival-focused game that I was in, so I may modify it to better suit Unfinished Library as additions occur to me.
📖Character
CHARACTER NAME: KD6-3.7, which as he'll tell you, is his serial number and not a name. Goes by K.
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 6'1"
BODY TYPE: Are they thin, fat, muscular? Short or tall? Do they work out or are they sedentary?
APPARENT AGE: How old do they look to an observer? Do they look their age, or do they look older? Younger?
An artificial 30. He doesn't age. It's a whole Thing that humans in his canon can now peg androids for what they are at a glance through various in-universe tells, chief of which being their obedient nature and possibly the fact most humans still on Earth (as opposed to those living offworld) are varying degrees of sickly or malnourished, likely to have radiation poisoning, etc. Whereas androids remain completely unaffected and very healthy looking. They're also, you know, generally manufactured to be conventionally attractive.
An observant character should have little difficulty picking up on K's synthetic nature (or just something being very non-human about him), I think, even if they're unfamiliar with androids.
📖Basics
DEMEANOR: How do they carry themselves? Do they have confidence, or are they meek and timid? Do they seem relaxed or tense? Do they joke around a lot or are they very serious and prim? Basically, what "vibe" do they give off to an observer?
His sense of humour skews dry. People will get the vibe he's Very Aware of them at all times but not necessarily in a threatening way; he's mindful, he's watchful. He'll relax around anyone he's comfortable with. He's curious about others and listens attentively to them when they talk, you can tell he isn't just waiting for his turn to speak. To some degree he unconsciously tries to match the energy of those around him.
BODY LANGUAGE: What's their body language like? Do they have good posture or do they slouch? Do they invade other people's personal space when they speak to them, or keep their distance?
DRESS: How do they usually dress? Are they well-dressed or do they just go with jeans and a t-shirt? Where's their clothing from? What's it made of?
SMELL: If they smell like something distinct (cigarettes, a specific perfume, whatever), put that here.
VOICE: Describe how they speak! Do they have an accent? If they do, what does it sound like? If someone were to guess where the character is from based on their voice, what would they probably think? Do they speak quickly or slowly? Is their voice high-pitched or low? Is there anything strange about the way they speak? Do they speak with confidence or do they hem and haw?
SCARS/TATTOOS/MARKINGS: Any distinct markings like tattoos, scars, etc, that would be visible to an observer go here.
FOOTWEAR: What kind of shoes do they wear? Ever go barefoot?
HYGIENE: Describe your character's overall hygiene here!
PHYSICAL CONDITION: Are they eating/sleeping? Bags under their eyes? Have they been taking care of themselves or are they looking rough? Do they have any long-term injuries, such as a deep scar or a missing eye or limb?
ANYTHING ELSE: If there's something interesting or unique about your character that you think an observant person would pick up on, that isn't covered by any of the categories listed above, put that here!
📖Possessions
Do they have any possessions they're especially protective of? Anything they don't let other people near, are especially vigilant about guarding, etc.
In general, how do they handle their possessions? Do they just carry their things everywhere or do they have a vessel to carry them in? Do they leave their possessions unattended, or are they careful about keeping things with them? Do they have a lot on them, or do they travel light?
Are they armed? Gun, sword, whatever. Doesn't matter. The important question is: are they packing?
📖Etc.
Visual references for K's body type for reasons 👀

There's also this scene from The Gray Man... (edit: I think Tumblr nuked it because of the male-presenting nipples lol)

Are you over 18? Yes.
Do you have any other characters in game?: No.
Who invited you?: NA.
Character Name: KD6-3.7, or K
Canon: Blade Runner
Canon Point: After his handler, Lieutenant Joshi, leaves his apartment.
Age: Chronologically only a few months old, physically and cognitively an adult.
History: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the novel which was the inspiration for Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. Here's a full timeline, and K's personal history. Note that while aspects of Blade Runner have been featured in the Alien franchise and vice versa (because of Ridley Scott), they mainly constitute easter eggs. The two timelines don't line up perfectly, so they may or may not actually take place within the same universe; either way I'm not going to detail the entire history/timeline of the Alien universe since it has no bearing on K or his history anyway.
And since there isn't a place to list species, I'll just mention that "replicant" is the in-universe term for an android and essentially a brand name for androids manufactured by Tyrell/Wallace Corp, but the terms can be used interchangeably. (I tend to favour using "android" for the sake of those who aren't canon familiar.)
Is this character an AU? What type?: No.
AU History: Feel free to delete if not applicable.
Personality: Outwardly K appears stoic and unemotive, behaving almost robotically, if you will. He isn't especially reactive in general and is able to maintain a sense of equanimity and single-minded focus even during tense situations, acting decisively. A prime example of this is shown in canon: when his aircraft is in the process of crashing, he doesn't panic or give into fear, but calmly prepares the aircraft and himself for the impact. This demeanour is arguably as much the result of his programming as it is his personality. In his case, they may be one and the same.
The societally accepted treatment of replicants is characterised by violence, degradation, depersonalisation, and enslavement, treatment which even K's human co-workers within the Los Angeles Police Department subject him to. So constant is this abuse that despite having only been alive for a few months, K has already grown inured to it and endures it without complaint, while the stranglehold of his programming strictly inhibits retaliation. He accepts it as simply being what life is for a replicant and knows that trying to buck the status quo can and often does lead to even more severe consequences. Humans despise him for being a replicant, while other replicants ostracise him for being a blade runner — a specialised officer tasked with hunting down rogue replicants — the duty for which he was designed. In this world he's an outcast even amongst outcasts, with his worth being wholly measured by how he can be used and what can be taken from him.
His sole source of companionship is provided by his holographic companion AI, Joi, whom he's shown to be emotionally attached to; she's the only individual he ever expresses his feelings to or confides in. Though they're unable to physically interact, he enjoys many of the trappings of a typical romantic relationship with her, while being aware of the fact she's bound by her programming and isn't capable of having genuine feelings for him. But, then, he isn't sure he's even capable of genuine emotions himself, and as he tells her: she's real to him. That's enough. Joi's appearance and voice are customisable to suit the preferences of her user, but as one of the advertisements for her model reveals, K's Joi remains in her default state, indicating his lack of preferences. It's a small detail, but very telling. K is just as much a product and commodity as she is, likewise limited by the constraints of his programming. But in spite of everything, he approaches Joi as a real person and encourages her to consider her own preferences and desires and motivations rather than existing to be a reflection of his; he attempts to provide her with a type of freedom that he's unlikely to ever have himself.
While his devotion to Joi is by choice, his inherent loyalty and absolute obedience to his superior officer and owner within the LAPD, Lieutenant Joshi, are the result of his programming. He's incapable of lying to her for the same reason. They share a cordially professional relationship and at times she seems almost fond of him, to the point where on at least one occasion she subtly propositions him. Though she'd be fully within her rights simply ordering him to accept her advances, she doesn't, and accepts his answer when he rebuffs her — but with an attitude that suggests she isn't pleased about her property rejecting her. It's noteworthy as being one of the few (possibly only) times K's been allowed anything approaching a choice in his interactions with humans.
His concept of morality and what constitutes "right" and "wrong" is somewhat rudimentary due to his being an android designed for obedience. It just doesn't occur to him to question why he's ordered to do what he does, because he's been designed that way; his own wants and feelings are irrelevant. But he doesn't relish the duty he's forced to carry out, that of hunting down and killing his own kind — though he doesn't actually consider these earlier models his own kind, a distinction that only really exists to enable him to fulfill his duties without incurring cognitive dissonance or mental instability. The act of killing other replicants isn't even referred to by that term, but by the more palatable "retirement", coined by humans. Because they aren't viewed or legally recognised as people, they're merely tools made to serve humanity and meant to be disposed of at their discretion. Displaying any indication that they may be developing free will is a virtually guaranteed death sentence and K himself regularly undergoes mandatory testing to ensure he's operating as intended. This is all such a fundamental doctrine of the world K's from that he doesn't believe he's a person, either, and it influences his limited spiritual beliefs — that only humans are capable of possessing souls ("to be born is to have a soul, I guess"), not replicants.
His greatest insecurity is without a doubt the fact he's an artificially created being with false memory implants that leave him uncertain whether even his emotional responses are real, or if they're just a product of his programming like everything else about him. He's only recently been discovering his own preferences: he helps himself to an alcoholic drink after a rough day at work (despite alcohol having no effect on replicants), appreciates old jazz music, and likes reading, especially to Joi; Pale Fire is his favourite book. He enjoys dancing, poetry, things that seem incongruous with what he was designed to be, to do — and thus potentially dangerous. And yet his ability to even have preferences is significant to him, making him feel a little more like an actual person, even if only within the privacy of his own mind.
Powers and Abilities: Pretty much what you'd expect an android programmed for law enforcement and investigation to be good at. He's proficient in multiple forms of armed and unarmed combat, has keen observational skills, strong deductive reasoning, high intelligence, and perfect recall. He can interface with other technology. He's very self-sufficient by design and has a broad general knowledge courtesy of his programming. Replicant intelligence is said to be equal to that of the scientists who created them — he learns at a greatly accelerated rate (moreover, he enjoys learning) and is shown to understand every spoken/written language he encounters, so was presumably programmed to already know quite a few. Unsurprising, given the broad linguistic landscape of the version of Los Angeles he's from.
As a Nexus-9 android optimised for combat and law enforcement, this means many of his physical abilities are essentially at a superhuman level. His strength, reflexes, agility, endurance, resilience, combat expertise, marksmanship, and eyesight are all enhanced. He's also capable of seeing in the dark unassisted.
He heals faster and with fewer complications than a human would. He can withstand considerably more damage than a human (such as being impaled by rebar then beaten almost to death by another Nexus-9 and being on his feet again within days), and any scarring eventually heals completely. He's immune to illness and disease and won't develop infections. He can survive much harsher conditions than the average human, such as the fallout from a dirty bomb and deep space without protective gear, without suffering ill effects. But he can still die from enough direct damage. Replicants are biorobotic androids.
He's subject to the laws of robotics as they exist in his canon, meaning he can't intentionally harm humans except in cases where his orders supersede the preservation of human life. But his obedience functions a bit differently from what's stated by the laws — he will only feel fully compelled to obey orders issued by those he recognises as his superior officers/handlers/owners. He isn't able to directly disobey them, though he can get "creative" in how he carries out their orders when needed.
Inventory: His clothes (full reference) which consist of his dark green laminated cotton coat with faux shearling collar (that's actually functional), a knit long-sleeve black jumper with a black shirt underneath, sleeveless undershirt, straight cut dark brown pants, black boxer-briefs, black tactical boots, a modified shoulder holster (based on Safariland 1090), where he carries his blaster gun. He also carries with him his LAPD badge and ID, Joi's emanator, a portable optic scanner used for identifying androids (which I believe is also K's Knowledge Integration Assistant unit), and a pair of black gloves.
Sample: From the TDM: threads with Jayce and Viktor.
When presented with a choice, is the character more likely to stick with tried and true methods? Or make something new up on the fly? K relies on past experience and his programming to inform his choices. Though it isn't often that he's even allowed to make choices for himself and he's still a baby AI, so as he grows more as a person and develops a stronger sense of self, I think the latter will become easier for him.
What is more important to your character, preserving the past or forging a future? K's human masters would have him maintain the status quo, as he was designed to do, but when freed of their influence, he's shown to be more interested in forging a future. Though maybe not necessarily for himself; he ultimately sacrifices himself in order to secure a future for other characters in his canon.
How does your character influence their own story? What about the stories of others? For most of K's canon, events are happening to him and it's only toward the end that he's developed enough autonomy to choose for himself and have some control over what happens to him. So while he may be the main protagonist of the movie, he has limited influence over his own story, though his choices and actions do eventually have a significant impact upon other characters' stories.
Are you alright with your character’s canon being used as a Recommended Reading?: I largely prefer to avoid breaking the fourth wall and K has enough existential crises to contend with, so for the time being I'm going to opt out of my character's canon being used for this.

When shaken, they’ll show a memory from the person who shook it- a memory of a holiday, or snow, or generally something that invokes the feeling of the season- light, and hope, and togetherness. It’s fragmented, almost stop-motion in between the falling bits of ‘snow,’ but once it has settled the normal, basic scene inside returns.

Post-traumatic baseline tests
The Post-Traumatic Baseline Test was an examination designed to measure any emotional deviance experienced by Nexus-9 replicants in the course of their work. To be "off baseline" would be considered a failure of such test. A subject's first failure would result in a verbal warning, the second would result in recalibration, and the third would permit immediate retirement.

In Character PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes.
Out Of Character FOURTH WALLING: In general: no thank you, this robot has enough existential crises to deal with.
ANYTHING ELSE: I also have a general preferences page as well as a first impressions page.

Neon Requiem First Impressions
(Adapted from the Glencola Reef version that was originally put together by Lalo's player.)
Character CHARACTER NAME: KD6-3.7, which as he'll tell you, is his serial number and not a name. Goes by K.
Basics SHADOW: "While in Limbo, your character’s soul is visible in their Shadow– as in, the literal shadow they throw when standing in light. Though it’s a dark silhouette, as expected, here the shape changes form to show the innermost image of self– who your character believes they truly are on the inside."
Possessions Do they have any possessions they're especially protective of? Anything they don't let other people near, are especially vigilant about guarding, etc.
In general, how do they handle their possessions? Do they just carry their things everywhere or do they have a vessel to carry them in? Do they leave their possessions unattended, or are they careful about keeping things with them? Do they have a lot on them, or do they travel light?
Are they armed? Gun, sword, whatever. Doesn't matter. The important question is: are they packing?
Etc. Visual references for K's body type for reasons 👀

There's also this scene from The Gray Man...

CRAU: n/a
History: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the novel which was the inspiration for Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. Here's a full timeline, and K's personal history. Note that while aspects of Blade Runner have been featured in the Alien franchise and vice versa (because of Ridley Scott), they mainly constitute easter eggs. The two timelines don't line up perfectly, so they may or may not actually take place within the same universe; either way I'm not going to detail the entire history/timeline of the Alien universe since it has no bearing on K or his history.
He's in for a welcome surprise in Requiem!
Abilities: Pretty much what you'd expect an android programmed for law enforcement and investigation to be good at.
But he can still die from enough direct damage or blood loss. Replicants are biorobotic androids – not human, but not fully robotic either.
Inventory: His clothes (full reference) which consist of his dark green laminated cotton coat with faux shearling collar (that's actually functional), a knitted long-sleeve black jumper with a black shirt underneath, sleeveless undershirt, straight cut dark brown jeans, black boxer-briefs, black tactical boots, a modified shoulder holster (based on Safariland 1090), where he carries his blaster gun. He also carries with him his LAPD badge and ID, Joi's emanator, a portable optic scanner used for identifying androids (which I believe is also K's Knowledge Integration Assistant unit), a pair of black gloves, and a small carved wooden horse toy.
Eternal Reward: To no longer be enslaved. Having the freedom to live as he chooses to, and to be defined by these choices, not by what he's been forced to do by humans. This will become all the more powerful a motivator as his personhood develops.
Goals/Ideas: For K to discover who he is outside of his manufactured purpose, to develop a genuine sense of personhood and everything that entails, and hopefully even ultimately achieve free will. You know, simple stuff. On a slightly less existentially fraught level, to make connections with people and learn what it is to have actual allies and friends who won't measure his worth as a person solely by how useful he is to them. He could really use a hug. Also to explore his emotional capacity. On that note, romance isn't out of the question (and he is a romantic at heart) though it may take him a while to warm up to the idea, especially with humans. He's too used to expecting terrible things from them. And springboarding off his canon interest in jazz music, to possibly learn to play an instrument or two (or more) and express himself through music. Having that kind of creative outlet would be very good for him and his character arc, I think.

Sample from another game I'm in that focuses on survival on a mysterious interdimensional tropical island that characters have been kidnapped to, for context.
Secret Code Phrase: My curse is my redemption.

IC INFO
Flirting: Yes, but it's unlikely to go anywhere unless you're Harley.
Fighting: Yes.
Debate: Yes.
Injury: Yes, with discussion to work out the details beforehand.
Death: Yes, with discussion to work out the details beforehand.
Mimicry: I'm not sure what this refers to, so I'll say maybe/probably not.
IC Offensive Topics: Things that your character is triggered by, and if you want them to engage in those topics ICly.
Enslavement/forced obedience: I'm fine engaging with this ICly.
Invalidating K's identity/experiences as an android**: I'm not interested in engaging with this ICly.
Physical/psychological torture (particularly brainwashing/reprogramming): I'm fine engaging with this ICly.
**A little clarification: I'm not interested in engaging with characters insisting K isn't an android for any reason, or insisting he must be human, etc. It has never led anywhere fun for me before. Some skepticism or needing to have the concept of androids/AI/robots explained to them (or that personhood isn't limited to only humans) is fine! But if a character just flatly refuses to accept K's identity no matter what, I'd rather not engage with that.
Other/Warnings: Things that your character does, or topics in their backstory, that could be potentially triggering to players or other characters; other important notes also go here.
Additionally, I have a general permissions post (only some of which might apply to Glencola Reef), as well as a preferences post.
