Do androids dream of electric sheep? Courtesy of his programmed obedience, this one dreams of satisfying your every desire! He may be prone to crippling existential crises and will tell you he isn't a pleasure model, but don't let that prevent you from enjoying his full functionality where it counts, and without worrying about pesky things such as consent. It isn't as though androids are people, after all! He bears the Technical Boy's personal seal of quality and as an added bonus, receives regular divine maintenance so your satisfaction is guaranteed!

[ but he'll also touch that match heart because despite how horrified he is by the content of text box, they do match. For the TRUE reasons and not this hurtful drivel, and even this hideous app needs to know. :| And the images it picked are nice--albeit invasive, but pretty.
K gets a separate text later. ] Hey.

And despite the content of his profile that seems designed to prey upon his insecurities, receiving the notification of the match does actually make him feel better. He knows how Tech Boy intended it. ]
I'm glad it didn't target you. But I also resent there not even being a mention of what we are to each other.

Spoke too soon.
[ ... but is it bad that he finds the addition weirdly amusing? And that image. ]

Or it didn't want anyone to know. Past tense because of course it's listening and rewriting just to be as hurtful as possible. "Divine maintenance." What a dick.
This whole thing makes my skin crawl. How dare it fucking talk to you like that. Denying your personhood and agency is just fucking anti-android propaganda bullshit.
And since it's still listening to us: CONSENT IS ALWAYS MANDATORY. Fuck.
[ Switching to private/encrypted text because fuck you, Deerington network spies. No one gets to see his soft underbelly except one very special person. ]
As the man I love, you do have my personal seal of quality. Even have the bite scars to prove it. But twisting it like that is gross.

Similarly encrypted: ]
It bears unfortunate similarities with how we're actually marketed in my homeworld. This is what humans believe. This is how they treat us. [ And there's a haunted look in his eyes as he can't help thinking about his handler â and the fact he's property.
Existential crises indeed. But he tries to push past it. ] I hate to say it, but I think the app drew from my own experiences and thoughts. I'm very sorry it involved you. I should have ignored it instead of bringing attention to it.perma-encrypted
'm not concerned about getting involved. And I do dream of your dick, so it's not wrong about that. But you're not in your homeworld anymore. You shouldn't have to take that same kind of shitty talk here. Shouldn't have to take it there either, but we'll see about that when we wake up one day. [ or whatever counts as Endgame for this place. He has his suspicions. ]
I think you're right that it's playing our insecurities back to us. Mines seems to think I'm not worth the hard drive space I'm programmed on. I managed to glitch my profile, but I'm not as strong now as I was when I first got here. I'll do what I can to crash the app.

[ To have someone who actually cares about his feelings. Who recognises that he has feelings, even if they're governed by ones and zeroes. The comment about his dick has him looking like he isn't sure if he's allowed to find it amusing, even if the app likely pulled that tidbit from his own subconscious â wondering if he occupies Tech Boy's thoughts as often as the god occupies his. ]
And I mind that it involved you. That bothers me more than anything it could write about me. I remember you told me there's a certain amount of truth to what's in your profile. Do you really think that? That you're not worth anything?
I know your resources are limited here. Don't expend too much of your energy on this, you may need it for something more important later on.

He's smoking now, unable to wipe the frown from his face that K can't see through the text but may be able to feel due to the intensity of it. ]
Used to. [ frown, then a sigh. ] It's harder to think that these days. [ Harder, but not impossible. Harder, but not when K proclaims Tech Boy the light of his world with K himself the most dedicated believer. ]
I'm so lucky to have you, too.
Taking a look at the app's code, it's really fucking dodgy and needs to understand who's the boss in this digital domain. It needs taught a lesson just as much as the monsters and the towns people and the shadowed puppet masters around here. I promise I won't weaken myself unnecessarily just to get revenge on a second-rate dream dating app.
But its days are numbered.

[ And this improved sense of self-worth comes as a very pleasant surprise. Maybe he's finally been taking the things K tells him to heart and letting himself really believe them. ]
Good luck getting rid of the app. It won't be missed.
And it could have at least used better pictures for mine.
[ A segue he's using as an excuse to send Tech Boy some pictures of them together. Because of course K's taken more than a few, both with and without Tech Boy appearing aware of being photographed at the time. At least a couple of decidedly intimate moments are included, too, since everything is encrypted. ]
Is it because of the lack of technology here? Why you were stronger when you first arrived.
