Following after the pair, K likewise takes a seat on the couch, pleased to think it might mean he'll have Viktor's company for at least a little while longer. It's good getting to spend time with him outside of their respective work at the lab-forge and garden project, as rare as it is. Which has him thinking that maybe he should ask if Viktor might like to spend more time with him in a social context.
"Even if it doesn't work... I appreciate what you're trying to do, Viktor. Sincerely."
The thought always counts when it comes to K; he never takes such consideration or kindness for granted.
"And I've been thinking that I'd like to help you more, too. With your projects, or anything else you might like an extra pair of hands or eyes for." Or if Viktor ever just wants — companionship? "Not as repayment," he clarifies before Viktor can protest that point, "but because I want to. I enjoy spending time with you."
Viktor had asked for K's help on the garden project, but maybe he was meaning something a bit more than going to a biome which would prove to be difficult for a human. Either way, Victor's quizzical smile turned more genuine.
"Yes, I would like for you to come to the hydroponic garden more. I feel as if I hardly ever see you."
Viktor thought it would be rude to call on K and then immediately turn around and leave. So he would stay for a moment.
"I warn you that I'm very bad at small talk, though. "
