Those two were joined at the hip, seemed very friendly with each other. You saw how Salamanca acted around him. Wasn't subtle. Nothing that would lead me to assume the information could've only been acquired through torture rather than given voluntarily, in confidence. Though now I'm wondering if Rust even tried the voluntary method first.

Based on everything I know about human men, I could argue that attractive features do seem to inhibit their higher brain functions. But you're probably right. Of more immediate relevance is whether you think Rust has any real reason to come after you. Not sure anyone else will really care that you knew Salamanca's real identity all along. Most probably understand friendship and loyalty and why you wouldn't have wanted to rat him out.
