[ Casual intimacy (whether affection or sex) doesn't seem like something he can just — ask about without it being awkward, even though he knows about Phil's past now. Maybe because he knows about Phil's past. He doesn't want to inadvertently insult the man or dredge up any unpleasant memories.

Taking a seat on the sofa, he gestures for Phil to sit down as well if he wants to. ]

Could've fooled me, you've been a good teacher when it comes to baking and cooking. But I guess this type of magic may be a bit... different?

A bit different, that's for sure. But it all depends on what you want to learn.

[He settles at the invited seat with the same gusto.]

Sherlock was right in saying that you don't need carnal pleasure to learn Erosian magic, intimacy is enough.

What YOU count as intimate, and what I count as intimate, it can vary! Even friends can count as intimate if you trust them and care about. But lovers...[his voice drifts a little, also avoiding any unpleasant memories for K] they win out. Especially if you do joint spells.

[He smirks] That's one thing I didn't teach the jerkwad. Erosian magic works best when you have more than one party involved. My rabbit spells are the stronger whenever Jeremy helps me with the baking, and my cat spells work best when Daryl's around.

It's two to tango and all that.
