[ Royce's gratitude had made him feel guilty enough — despite knowing, logically, Royce might very well have gotten injured even if he hadn't taken that second to push K himself out of the way. Alfie's gratitude only compounds it. But... he's also touched by the gesture, especially considering he'd wondered if Alfie would be angry about the incident. ]

I hope you're both well. Or as well as can be expected.

Physically I know Royce was fully healed, I saw it happen. But afterward he seemed to think he was back in Norfinbury. Asked about his death price. Those memories don't seem to be doing him any favours.
