I see. Is your boyfriend also an android?
[ Considering the text that Quentin opened with, it seems like an entirely reasonable question. ]

No, he just likes to rile me up and he knows I like sci-fi.
I guess it's not scifi where you come from though
just sci
no fi
[ wow, he's doing such a good job at socializing right now]

[ The awkwardness is sort of weirdly charming, admittedly. ]
Fiction still exists. Just not where androids are concerned.
Was he suggesting a robot uprising, by chance?
[ Does he sound too hopeful? At least this is through text. Plausible deniability. ]

I don't know enough about android legality to lead you down that path.
Wait actually do androids have their own lawyers? Are you common where you're from?

Relatively common. Legally we're property, so any legal representation would be on behalf of the owner.
Also it was an attempt at a joke. I suppose I need more practise.
Hypothetically, though, would you be interested in a video game about a robot uprising in which the robots are not the villains?
[ This is now an unofficial poll about his
game idea
that he isn't sure anyone else would play. ]

that's terrible.
[ but honesly? On par with how shitty human beings are. ]
people in general tend to be the villians in most of my experience
it's never the talking horses

They do seem rather adept at it.
[ Being terrible, acting villainous. Present company excluded, assuming Quentin is, in fact, human himself. ]
There's talking horses where you're from?
