It still surprises me that our respective homeworlds must have similar histories to have some of the same music.

That's the first movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. So your brother likes classical music and your mother liked jazz? Those are my favourite genres too.

The first movement is the most widely known part of the song, I think. But I like the third movement. It's very elaborate.

And maybe you've achieved it through your own hard work and practise. You shouldn't discount that.

Just wondered. It exists in my homeworld too. The Glow-Worm, it's an old jazz standard. I heard it recently in the Great Sleep, a friendly octopus-spider being was humming it.

Why do you think that's gross? [ Fern's identity issues just get more and more sad. ] He just looked like an octopus, but could make webs like a spider.

I'm reasonably certain he wasn't a native inhabitant of the place. More like another Sleeper.
