Hearts in Atlantis reference

When fully submerged in water, K is transformed into a dark-scaled seadragon with four talon-tipped webbed paws, and has bioluminescent rings and symmetrical grid-like patterns running the length of his body. They can glow brighter and even expand outward from his body almost like wires, and are capable of delivering a nasty shock. His eyes and the inside of his mouth are also bioluminescent. His limbs, neck, back, and tail are all lined with long, semi-translucent frills. (Not pictured in the art, just pretend they're there. Something similar to what's shown in the merman art.)

And optionally...

When partially out of the water (such as in a bath), his upper body can be transformed into that of a dark-skinned merman. He retains the bioluminescent rings and patterns on his body, and has long ear frills, fangs, and claws.
